JAKARTADAILY.ID – Bali was rocked by an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.6 on Monday, January 16, 2023, at around 20.10 WIB.
The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) stated that the epicenter was in South Kuta.
BMKG explained that the epicenter of the earthquake was located at coordinates 9.32° south latitude, and 115.49° east longitude.

The epicenter was in the sea at a distance of 65 kilometers southeast of South Kuta at a depth of 69 kilometers.
"The earthquake had a magnitude of 4.6. The epicenter was in the sea 65 km southeast of South Kuta," said the BMKG.
The vibrations from the earthquake were felt in several areas in Bali Province.
"The earthquake was felt up to (MMI) II Denpasar, II South Kuta, II Jimbaran, II Karangasem," said the BMKG.
