JAKARTADAILY.ID – The public prosecutor considered that there had been an affair between Nofriansyah Yosua Hutabarat alias Brigadier J and the wife of the former Head of the Propam Police Division Ferdy Sambo, Putri Candrawathi at their house in Magelang, Central Java on July 7, 2022.
The public prosecutor made the statement during an evidence presentation and indictment reading of the defendant Kuat Ma'ruf at the South Jakarta District Court on Monday, January 16, 2022.
"It is true that on Thursday, July 7, 2022, around the afternoon at Ferdy Sambo's house in Magelang, an affair occurred between the victim Yosua and the witness Putri Candrawathi," said the prosecutor as quoted by CNN Indonesia.

The prosecutor said that their conclusion was derived from statement number 210, Kuat Ma'ruf's statement numbers 124, 125, and 50, and a statement from Polygraph expert Aji Febriyanto from the Polygraph Criminalistics Laboratory dated, September 9, 2022.
Additionally, the prosecution also stated that Kuat knew when Brigadier J. left Putri Chandrawati's bedroom, on the second floor, resulting in a commotion between Kuat and Yoshua which resulted in the defendant Kuat Ma'ruf chasing Yoshua with a knife.
"It is true that the victim Yoshua exited Putri Candrawathi's room on the second floor of the Magelang house, which was witnessed by defendant Kuat Ma'ruf, resulting in a confrontation between Kuat Ma'ruf and the victim Yosua which resulted in the defendant Kuat Ma'ruf chasing the victim Yosua with a kitchen knife," said the prosecutor as quoted by CNN Indonesia.
The prosecutor said that this fact was inferred from the statement of the defendant Kuat Ma'ruf, the testimony of the witness Ricky Rizal, and the statement of Putri Candrawathi.
Kuat Ma'ruf was prosecuted because he was judged to have committed the premeditated murder of Brigadier J.

Kuat Ma'ruf was then charged with Article 340 subsidiary Article 338 in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph 1 1 of the Criminal Code.
The murder of Brigadier J occurred on Friday, 8 July 2022 at the Sambo official residence number 46 located at the National Police Complex, Duren Tiga, South Jakarta. In the indictment, Bharada E and Sambo are said to have shot Brigadier J.
The background to the murder is suspected because Putri was harassed by Brigadier J while in Magelang, Central Java on Thursday, July 7, 2022. This allegation has been denied by Brigadier J's family.
