JAKARTADAILY.ID – The drug trafficking case involving the former West Sumatera Police Chief, Inspector General of Police Teddy Minahasa Putra is ready for trial.
The West Jakarta District Attorney's Office on Wednesday, January 11, 2023, received the delegation of suspects and evidence of the alleged drug trafficking case involving Teddy.
"Today, on Wednesday, January 11, 2023, the West Jakarta District Attorney's Office has received stage 2 submission, namely the submission of suspects and evidence," said the Head of the West Jakarta District Attorney's Office, Iwan Ginting as quoted by pmjnews on Wednesday, January 12, 2023.
Apart from Teddy, the other six suspects who were transferred to the West Jakarta Prosecutor's Office were former Bukit Tinggi Police Chief, Adjunct Police Commissioner Dody Prawiranegara, Police Commissioner Kasranto, First Police Inspector Janto Situmorang, Linda Pujiastuti alias Anita, M Nasir alias Daeng, and Syamsul Ma'arif.
The suspects were then detained in two different places, namely Teddy at the Salemba Detention Center branch of the Metro Police and the rest at the Salemba Detention Center branch of the West Jakarta Metro Police.

"We (have) detained suspect TM at the Metro Police at the Salemba Detention Center branch of the Metro Police," Iwan said.
Previously, Teddy Minahasa's attorney, Hotman Paris Hutapea, believed that his client was not the perpetrator of the alleged drug trafficking case. But, Hotman believes Inspector General Teddy is trapped, he is a victim.
