Suharyanto added that based on data collection compiled by the BNPB Control and Operations Center (Pusdalops), the impact of the earthquake also damaged several buildings, such as 343 houses, one Islamic boarding school, and the Cianjur Regional Hospital.

Additionally, four government buildings, three educational facilities, one house of worship, one shop, one cafe, and some roads were blocked.
Suharyanto said that he would immediately go to the affected location to accelerate the handling of the earthquake.
"Tomorrow morning I will go to the location, to carry out assistance on steps to deal with the earthquake in Cianjur, besides that to ensure that the needs of the affected community are met," he concluded.
