JAKARTADAILY.ID – West Javan Governor Ridwan Kamil is launching an anti-bullying application to prevent bullying in West Java.

The governor made the announcement during a "West Java Mobile Broadcasting" at the Karawang 5 Public High School in West Java on Wednesday, November 16, 2022.

Ridwan Kamil explained that the West Java Provincial Government was currently discussing the application. Without obstacles, it will be launched at the end of November this year.

"At the end of the month we will launch an anti-bullying application," said Ridwan Kamil as reported by Jakartadaily.id.

He hopes that this app will provide students with a sense of safety and security in schools.

"Reminding that the main thing at school is that there shouldn't be bullying. Schools must miss being in a very comfortable zone.

"Second, there shouldn't be fake news, which is usually present because of low literacy, just playing with faith, and so on," explained Ridwan Kamil.

Thus students can vent about the problems they received while at school through the application. According to him, it can ward off bullying in schools.

"So later if there are school children who ever feel bullied, they are confused about confiding in teachers, they are not heard, let alone confiding in friends.

So you can report, so we can take action. Don't wait for it to go viral, ok," said Ridwan Kamil.

"This is a state system present to school children in West Java until one day there are no more troubling incidents of bullying because the state facilitates reports of complaints very quickly through the system in the application," continued Ridwan Kamil.
