JAKARTADAILY.ID – The South Jakarta State Prosecutor's Office has charged Ahyudin, founder and former President of the Aksi Cepat Tanggap Foundation (ACT) with embezzling donations from Boeing for the families or heirs of victims of the Lion Air 610 crash.
Ahyudin, who is also the President of Global Moeslim Charity, along with ACT President for the 2019-2022 period, Ibnu Khajar, and former ACT Operational Senior Vice President Hariyana Hermain were charged with embezzling a Rp 138,54 billion donation from Boeing.
The Public Prosecutor at the South Jakarta District Attorney's Office revealed that the ACT Foundation has used funds from the Boeing Community Investment Fund (BCIF) inappropriately.

The Rp 138,54 billion funds should have been distributed to the families of the victims of the Lion Air Boeing 737 Max 8 plane crash with flight number JT 610.
However, only Rp 2,066 billion in assistance funds were used for the families of the victims of the Lion Air plane crash.
This was revealed by the prosecutor when reading the indictment of the founder of the ACT Foundation, Ahyudin, which was read out in a hearing at the South Jakarta District Court, Tuesday, November 15, 2022
"The BCIF funds were used by the defendant not in accordance with Boeing's implementation and were instead used for the benefit of building social facilities as specified in the BCIF protocol," said the prosecutor in a hearing at the South Jakarta District Court, Tuesday, November 15, 2022.
The defendant Ahyudin did not submit a note of objection or exception to the indictment of the Public Prosecutor at the South Jakarta District Attorney's Office.
"The defendant did not submit a note of objection or exception," said the Head of the Attorney General's Legal Information Center, I Ketut Sumedana, in a written statement, Tuesday, November 15, 2022.

The trial of the founder of the ACT Foundation will be continued with the examination of the witnesses presented by the Public Prosecutor's Office on Tuesday next week.
Meanwhile, the other two defendants, namely Ibnu Khajar and Hariyana bint Hermain, chose to submit exceptions to the indictments that had been read out by the prosecutor. "The trial will continue on November 22, 2022, with an agenda for reading a note of objection or exception," said Ketut.
