JAKARTADAILY.ID – Four bodies belonging to one family in Kalideres, West Jakarta were found rotting and decayed by the West Jakarta Metro Police.
The Directorate of General Criminal Investigation (Ditreskrimum) of the Polda Metro Jaya Police has formed a team to investigate these mysterious deaths.
The Director General Crimes of the Polda Metro Jaya Police, Police Grand Commissioner Hengki Haryadi, said that his party had not yet concluded the cause of deaths.
"The Directorate of Metro Jaya Police has been deployed in the field, backing up the West Jakarta Metro Police in investigating the case," said Hengki through a short message received by reporters, Sunday, November 13, 2022.
"We are helping the West Jakarta Metro Police to uncover the cause of death for a family in Kalideres scientifically so that the results can be legally accounted for," he continued.
Hengki added that his party would conduct an inductive and deductive method of investigation to shed light on the death of a family in Kalideres.

"What is clear is that inductively, the crime scene has been processed. Meanwhile, deductively, we will explore the information," added Hengki Haryadi.
According to police, there was a distinct absence of food or ingredients in the household, however, Hengki said that the investigators are still waiting on forensic results.
"We are still waiting for the process of forensic medicine and forensic laboratories (for toxicology and histopathology) regarding the causes of death accurately," he explained.
In addition, the police will also conduct a digital forensic examination to explore possible motives behind the family's death.

While initial observations might point toward starvation as the leading cause of death, Hengki said that conclusion is out of the question.
