JAKARTADAILY.ID – The Joint Independent Fact-Finding Team (TGIPF) discovered that the CCTV footage from the Kanjuruhan Stadium was deleted.

This was according to a TGIPF investigation report document which was uploaded to the official website of the Coordinating Ministry for Political, Legal, and Security Affairs.

A 3-hour and 21-minute footage from the cameras at the main lobby and parking lot was missing, according to the TGIPF report.

"The initial movement of the Barracuda series, which will evacuate the Persebaya Team, can be recorded via CCTV in the main lobby and parking area," TGIPF wrote in its report on Tuesday, October 17, 2022.

According to TGIPF, the CCTV only showed footage with a duration of 1 hour and 21 minutes, which is significantly shortened.

"But the CCTV footage starting at 22.21.30 can be recorded with a duration of 1 hour 21 minutes, and then the recording is lost (deleted) for 3 hours, 21 minutes, 54 seconds, then the recording reappears for 15 minutes," said the TGIPF report.

TGIPF stated that the loss of the recording hinder their task to uncover the facts behind what actually happened at the Kanjuruhan Stadium. TGIPF added that they are currently trying to request a complete recording from the Police.

"The loss of the duration of the CCTV footage makes it difficult or hinders the task of the TGIPF team to find out the facts that actually happened and efforts are being made to request a complete recording from the National Police Headquarters," stated the TGIPF report.
