Prosecutor: Putri Candrawathi Privy of Plans to Murder Brig. J, but Claims to Not Understand the Indictment

JAKARTADAILY.ID – Ferdy Sambo's wife, Putri Candrawathi, underwent a trial proceeding for the murder of Brigadier J at the South Jakarta District Court on Monday, October 17, 2022.

The trial agenda was the reading of the indictment from the public prosecutor.

In the trial, the Public Prosecutor revealed the role of Putri Candrawati in the case of Brigadier J. Putri's murder.

"Ferdy Sambo explained the incident on July 7, 2022, in Magelang as a one-sided story from Putri Candrawathi whose truth is not yet certain, saying, 'That when in Magelang, Putri Candrawathi was harassed by Joshua," said the Prosecutor at the South Jakarta District Court, Monday, October 17. 2022.

Prosecutors said Putri was directly involved in the assassination plan.

"When Ferdy Sambo explained the incident in Magelang to Richard Eliezer, Putri Candrawathi who heard Ferdy Sambo's words immediately came out of her room to the sofa and sat beside Ferdy Sambo so that she was involved in the conversation," said the Prosecutor.

The plan to kill Brigadier J was finally carried out at Ferdy Sambo's official residence in Duren Tiga, South Jakarta.

In addition, the public prosecutor also mentioned that Defendant Putri Candrawathi had expressed her gratitude after the murder of Brigadier J.

These remarks were conveyed to Bripka Ricky Rizal alias Bripka RR, Bharada Richard Eliezer alias Bharada E, and Kuat Ma'ruf.

"At that time Defendant Putri Candrawathi as Witness expressed her gratitude to Witness Ricky Rizal Wibowo, Witness Richard Eliezer Pudihang Lumiu, and Witness Kuat Ma'ruf," said the Prosecutor at the Jakarta District Court.

In addition, Ferdy Sambo gave them three iPhone 13 Pro Max brand cellphones as a replacement for the old cellphone that was damaged so that the case could not be traced.
