Prosecutors Reveal Chain of Events Leading Up to the Murder of Brigadier J

JAKARTADAILY.ID – The first trial for the premeditated murder of Brigadier J, or Nofriansyah Yosua Hutabarat was held yesterday, Monday, October 17, 2022, at the South Jakarta District Court

The court conducted a hearing for all suspects involved except for Richard Eliezer, otherwise known as Bharada E, whose hearing is scheduled for October 18, 2022.

The suspects present today are Ferdy Sambo, Putri Candrawathi, Chief Brigadier (Bripka) Ricky Rizal aka Bripka RR, and Kuat Ma'ruf.

During trial proceedings, the Prosecutor revealed that Brigadier J's cause of death was the final bullet that was shot by Ferdy Sambo.

The trial also revealed that Bharada E fired at least three shots at Brigadier J, which caused him to collapse to the ground. 

Upon seeing that Brigadier J was still slightly moving, Ferdy Sambo shot Brigadier J on the left side of his head, ensuring that he was dead.

 “The Defendant Ferdy Sambo approached the victim Nopriansyah Yosua Hutabarat who was lying near the front steps of the bathroom, face down, still moving in pain, then to make sure that he was really dead, the Defendant Ferdy Sambo, who was already wearing black gloves, grabbed a firearm and fire one shot hitting the right back of the head on the left side of Victim until the victim died," said the Prosecutor at the South Jakarta District Court, Monday, October 17, 2022.

Ferdy Sambo's final shot confirmed Brigadier J's death which resulted in burns to the right outer nostril as the shot penetrated forward.

"The shot of Defendant Ferdy Sambo pierced the back of the head of the left side of Victim Nofriansyah Yosua Hutabarat through the nose resulting in burns to the right outer nostril," said the Prosecutor.

"The bullet's trajectory has damaged the base of the skull in two places, resulting in damage to the base bone of the right eyeball and causing blood infiltration in the lower eyelid of the right eye. The bullet's trajectory has caused damage to the brainstem," he explained.
