Polda Metro Jaya Police: Inspector General Teddy Replaced Five Kilograms of Crystal Meth Evidence with Alum

JAKARTADAILY.ID – The Director of Drug Investigation (Dirresnarkoba) of the Metro Jaya Police, Chief Commissioner Mukti Juharsa said Inspector General Teddy Minahasa replaced the evidence of confiscated crystal methamphetamine (shabu) weighing 5 kilograms with alum.

Mukti revealed that the five kilograms of shabu that should have been destroyed was taken from evidence in the disclosure of the drug case at the Bukittinggi Police, North Sumatra Regional Police. This shabu is then sold to another party.

"Yes (shabu) has been replaced with alum," Mukti told reporters at the Central Jakarta Metro Police, Friday, October 14, 2022.

Mukti explained that in the disclosure of the case at the Bukittinggi Police, the total evidence was 41.4 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine. Then as much as five kilograms were taken on Teddy's orders, while the rest were destroyed.

Of the total five kilos of crystal methamphetamine, Mukti continued, 1.7 kilograms of which had been sold to Kampung Bahari, North Jakarta by another suspect with the initials DG.

"Which has become 3.3 kilograms of evidence of methamphetamine that was secured," he said.

Regarding the embezzlement of drug evidence confiscated by the West Sumatra Police, Inspector General Teddy Minahasa Putra in statement on Friday Oktober 14, 2022 stated that this problem began when the West Sumatra Police revealed the trafficking of 41.4 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine.

When they were about to destroy the evidence, Teddy stated that the Bukit Tinggi Police Chief, Adjunct police commissioner, Doddy Prawira Negara, had set aside 1 percent of the evidence for official purposes. Because of this act, Doddy also transfered to the West Sumatra Police Logistics Bureau.

Teddy admitted that he introduced Doddy Prawira Negara, with a woman named Anita alias Linda n oredet to trap her. Teddy said he was disappointed in Anita for tricking him.

Teddy explained that on June 23, 2022, he was tricked by Anita about an information about the smuggling 2 tons of drugs by sea.

As a result of this information, Teddy claimed to have lost Rp20 billion of his personal money for the costs of fishing operations in the South China Sea and along the Malacca Strait.
