Indonesian National Police Transfers East Java Police Chief Inspector General Nico Afinta to Jakarta HQ

JAKARTADAILY.ID – The East Java Police Chief Inspector General Nico Afinta has been transferred to become an Expert Staff of the Indonesian National Police Chief for Socio-Cultural Affairs.

His position will be replaced by Inspector General Teddy Minahasa Putra who previously served as West Sumatra Police Chief.

The transfer is in accordance with the National Police Chief's Telegram letter Number: Kep/1386/X/2022/Date10-10-2022 concerning Dismissal from and Appointments in Positions within the Police, Monday 10 October 2022.

Then, the position of West Sumatra Police Chief will be filled by Inspector General Rusdi Hartono who previously served as Level I Police Main Lector of School Leader of the Indonesian Police Training Institute.

"It's true, there is a Telegram letter in the context of the tour of duty and tour area, mutation is a natural thing in organizations in the context of promotion and improving organizational performance," said Dedi to reporters, Monday, October 10, 2022.

In this Telegram letter, the National Police Chief also rotated the Director of Cyber ​​Crime and Criminal Investigation at the National Police, Brigadier General Asep Edi Suheri, who was promoted to Deputy Head of the National Police's Criminal Investigation Division.

This position was vacant after the previous official, Inspector General Syahardiantono was appointed Head of the Internal Affairs (Propam) Police Division.

Then, the position of Director of Cyber ​​Crimes at the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police will be held by Chief Commissioner Adi Vivid Agustiadi Bachtiar, who previously served as an aide to President Joko Widodo.
