JAKARTADAILY.ID – Indonesian National Police Code of Ethics Commission (KKEP) session imposed a 3-year demotion sanction on Police 2nd Inspector Arsyad Daiva Gunawan (Ipda Arsyad) for being unprofessional in handling the murder case of Brigadier J.
"Administrative sanctions in the form of demotional mutations for 3 years since being transferred to Yanma Polri," said Head of Public Information Division of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Chief Commissioner Nurul Azizah, in a statement, Tuesday, September 27, 2022.
Ipda Arsyad underwent a session of the Police Code of Ethics Commission (KKEP) for two days on Thursday 15 September and Monday 26 September 2022 in the courtroom of the Polri Internal Affair Division TNCC Building. The trial was delayed due to the presence of witnesses in the trial.
In addition to the one-year demotion sanction, Ipda Arsyad is also subject to other sanctions, namely the behavior of the violator is declared as a disgraceful act. Ipda Arsyad is required to apologize verbally before the KKEP trial and or in writing to the leadership of the Police and the injured party.
"And the obligation to apologize verbally before the KKEP trial and or in writing to the leadership of the Police and the injured party," she said.
As reported, Ipda Arsyad was the first to visit the scene of the murder, Ferdy Sambo's official residence at the Duren Tiga Complex, South Jakarta.
"He was not a professional at the crime scene. He was the first to visit the crime scene," said the Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo on Saturday, September 17, 2022.
