JAKARTADAILY.ID – Ferdy Sambo's appeal against the court's decision to dishonorably discharge (PTDH) was rejected by the appeals court commission held by the TNCC Building at the National Police Headquarters.
The Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Inspector General Pol. Dedi Prasetyo said the decision was a collective collegial decision of the trial commission which agreed to reject Ferdy Sambo's appeal.

In addition to the decision to reject Ferdy Sambo's appeal, the appeal hearing commission also stated that what Ferdy Sambo did was a disgraceful act and maintained the decision to dishonorably discharge the former Inspector General.
"The chairman of the appeal court said that the decision was a disgraceful act, and confirmed the dishonorable discharge of Inspector General FS from a member of the police force," he explained.

Dedi also emphasized that there was no ceremony related to the dishonorable dismissal (PTDH) of Ferdy Sambo.
"There isn't any. It has been submitted means that it has been dishonorably dismissed. Just handing it over is already a ceremonial form," he said.
Furthermore, Dedi said that the submission of the results of the appeal court decision would be made after the entire administrative process was completed.
Submission of sanctions will later be submitted by the Human Resources (HR) division no later than three days after the appeal hearing is held.
"After it was handed over, the membership was decided," he added.

Meanwhile, the lawyer for the family of Ferdy Sambo, Arman Hanis, admitted that he would study the appeal decision first.
"Regarding the appeal decision, later we will study the appeal decision first, what the considerations are," said Ferdy Sambo family lawyer, Arman Hanis to reporters, Monday, September 19, 2022.
Furthermore, Armand added that his party will take legal steps after the appeal decision is received. However, he has not explained the legal steps he will take.
