JAKARTADAILY.ID – Eight suspected terrorists part the Anshor Daulah (AD) network were arrested by the Indonesian Police Anti-terror Special Detachment 88 (Densus 88). The eight suspects were arrested in various different locations in the Dumai area, Riau.
"Law enforcement has been carried out against eight suspects from Anshor Daulah Dumai, Riau Province," said Head of the Operational Assistance Section of Densus 88, Chief Commissioner Aswin Siregar in his statement, Thursday, September 15, 2022.
The eight terrorist suspects arrested by Densus 88 are Riki Pranando (RP), Joko Witoyo (JW), Indra Irwansyah (II), Muhyi (M), Zulpendra (Z), Moh Nur Sahid (MNS), Iwan Tuah Zainuddin (ITZ), and Muhammad Ali (MA).

They were arrested by Densus 88 in various different locations in Riau on Wednesday, September 14, 2022, from 07.05 WIB to 12.10 WIB.
Aswin said that suspect R was the Amir of the Army network in Dumai and was connected to the Telegram group of local entrepreneurs under the leadership of Abu Yudha, Central Java with the aim of realizing jihad.
"(They) conducted an i'dad survey in the Bagan Keladi oil palm plantation area, West Dumai. Some of them are remnants of Pok Pak Ngah (a teroris suspect died at Riau Police Attack in 2018)," he explained.

The group is also known to have conducted military exercises twice.
"They did two military-style i'dad exercises on Rupat Island, Bengkalis Regency, Riau Province, in early 2020," he said.
