Brigadier Frillyan Fitri Rosadi Gets 2 Years Demotion as Sanction for Ethics Violation During Brigadier J Case

JAKARTADAILY.ID – Indonesian Police Code of Ethics Commission (KKEP) trial for the murder of Brigadier J, has determined that Brigadier Frillyan Fitri Rosadi (Brigadier FF) had committed a disgraceful act and was sentenced to a demotion for two years.

Brigadier FF did not appeal the KKEP decision.

"On this decision, the violators declare that they do not appeal," said National Police Spokesperson, Chief Commissioner Ade Yaya Suryana to reporters, Wednesday, September 14, 2022.

In the KKEP trial, Brigadier FF has proven to have violated Article 5 Paragraph 1 letter b and c of Police Regulation (Perpol) Number 7 of 2022 concerning the Professional Code of Ethics and the Police Code of Ethics Commission.

"The form of action is unprofessionalism in carrying out tasks," he added.

Brigadier FF underwent a KKEP trial for his violation of seizing cellphones belonging to journalists who were reporting.

"He and Bharada S (Bharada Sadam) took the media's cellphones while reporting," said the Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo, Wednesday, September 14, 2022.
