JAKARTADAILY.ID – A total of 43 public prosecutors were appointed by the Indonesian Attorney General's Office to investigate and handle allegations of obstruction during the investigations into the murder of Brigadier J, or Yosua Hutabarat.
The National Police has determined seven suspects in total, including six members of the police and Ferdy Sambo himself, who is a prime suspect as the mastermind of the murder and subsequent coverups.
"The Junior Attorney General for General Crimes at the AGO has appointed 43 public prosecutors by issuing a warrant for the appointment of a public prosecutor (P-16)," said AGO spokesman Ketut Sumedana in Jakarta, Monday, September 12, 2022.
Ketut continued that the Junior Attorney General has also received a letter of notification of the suspect's determination from the Directorate of Cybercrime of the National Police Criminal Investigation Agency (Bareskrim Polri) on behalf of the suspect, Ferdy Sambo.
Based on the Notice of Suspect Decision Number: B / 784 / IX / RES.2.5 / 2022 / Cyber Crime Directorate (Dittipidsiber) dated September 1, 2022.
The letter explained that Ferdy Sambo was charged with Article 49 in conjunction with Article 33 and/or Article 48 paragraph (1) in conjunction with Article 32 paragraph (1) of Law Number 19 of 2016 concerning Amendments to Law Number 11 of 2008 concerning Information and Electronic Transactions, in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) of the 1st Criminal Code and/or Article 221 paragraph (1) of the 2nd and/or Article 233 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) of the 1st Criminal Code.
The seven suspects besides Ferdy Sambo are Brigadier General Hendra Kurniawan, Chief Commissioner Agus Nur Patria, Adjunct Chief Commissioner Arif Rahman Arifin, Commissioner Chuck Putranto, Commissioner of Police Baiquni Wibowo, and Adjunct Commissioner AKP Irfan Widyanto.
