AKBP Jery Raymond Siagian Dishonorably Discharged from the National Police

JAKARTADAILY.ID – The National Police Code of Ethics Commission (KKEP) trial on Saturday, September 10, 2022, landed down a Dishonorable Discharge (PTDH) verdict against Adjunct Chief Commissioner (AKBP) Jerry Raymond Siagian (AKBP JS).

Ethics Commission decided that AKBP Jerry who was the former Deputy Director General Crime of the Polda Metro Jaya proven to have committed a disgraceful act.

"Dishonorably Discharge as a member of the National Police," said Deputy Inspectorate of General Supervision (Iwasum) of the National Police, Inspector General Pol Tornagogo Sihombing quoted from the Polri TV Youtube channel, Sunday, September 11, 2022.

The verdict is a punishment for violating the code of ethics for his involvement in the case of Brigadier J. AKBP JS was proven to have committed a disgraceful act.

He was deemed unprofessional in handling two police reports related to death threats and alleged sexual harassment.

In addition to PTDH, AKBP JS also received administrative sanctions in the form of a special placement in a special place (patsus) at the Mobile Brigade Headquarters.

"Administrative sanctions, namely a, special placement for 29 days from August 11 to September 9 2022 at the Police Mobile Brigade Headquarters and placement in a special place has been served by the violators," he added.
