JAKARTADAILY.ID – Ferdy Sambo, the suspect in the Brigadier J murder case, underwent a lie detector test on Thursday, September 8, 2022.
The Head of the Public Relations Division of the Indonesian National Police, Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo, said that Ferdy Sambo has been tested with a polygraph test for six hours from 13.00 WIB to 19.00 WIB.
"From 13.00 WIB to 19.00 WIB, information from the Secretary of the National Police Medical Center," said Dedi, as quoted by Pmjnews, Friday, September 9, 2022.
Furthermore, Dedi said that the results of the lie detector test were for investigators' purposes.
"The results of the lie detector or polygraph is pro justitia test for investigators," he added.
However, Dedi did not provide information regarding the results of the lie detector test carried out by Ferdy Sambo because this was not his authority.
"The result is whether it has been completed, it is the domain of the laboratory and investigators," explained Dedi.
Meanwhile, Ferdi Sambo's wife, Putri Candrawathi, had already conducted a lie detector test also using a polygraph.
Putri Candrawathi underwent a lie test on Wednesday 7 September 2022 with her household assistant, Susi.
Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo explained that the results of the lie detector against Putri Candrawatih and witness Susi were the same.
However, the two-star general did not explain in detail the results of the lie detector tests for Putri Candrawathi and Susi.
"The result is the same. Pro Justitia is for the benefit of investigators, meaning only for investigators. If the investigator wants to present it during the trial as evidence, instructions or expert testimony," said Dedi.
