JAKARTADAILY.ID – The search and rescue of the Indonesian Navy (TNI AL) managed to find the bodies of a pilot and co-pilot of the G-36 Bonanza training plane that crashed in the Surabaya West Shipping Channel (APBS).
Indonesian Chief of Staff of the Navy (KSAL) Admiral Yudo Margono said the bodies of the two were found at a depth of 14 meters.
"Earlier at 10.00 WIB, they were found at a depth of 14 meters and still inside the wreckage of the plane that crashed yesterday," said Yudo at the Navy Headquarters, Jakarta, Thursday, September 8, 2022.

The two TNI AL members who died were the First Lieutenant Marine Pilot Judistira Eka Permady, and the Marine Lt. Copilot Dendy Kresna Bakti Sabila.
Pilot Lieutenant Marine Judistira Eka Permady left a wife named Vriliandia Iranoza who is currently 8 months pregnant while Copilot Lieutenant Marine Lieutenant Dendy Kresna Bakti Sabila left a wife and a child.
Both of them will be buried after Friday prayers at the Bahagia Cemetery, Surabaya, today, Friday 9 September 2022.

Yudo confirmed that the two pilots were promoted one level higher to Posthumous Captains and Posthumous First Lieutenants, and would care for the bereaved families.
"The skepticism for their promotion has been completed, of course as a tribute because they died in carrying out their duties," said Yudo.
"We are all condolences, condolences, and this will of course be our evaluation. We are especially at the Naval flight center to evaluate so that it doesn't happen in the future," he added.
