Police Confirms East Java and North Sumatra Police Chiefs Are Not Involved in Brigadier J's Case

JAKARTADAILY.ID – The Indonesian National Police denied reports about the alleged involvement of three police chiefs who helped spread the Ferdy sambo's scenario for the assassination of Brigadier J

National Police spokesperson Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo emphasized that the East Java Police Chief Inspector General Nico Afinta and the North Sumatra Police Chief Inspector General RZ Panca Putra Simanjuntak were not involved in the scenario or intervention in the shooting case of Brigadier J.

"The East Java and North Sumatra Regional Police Chiefs have made sure that they never go before anyone, Pati Polri, to try to intervene in the case," explained Dedi Prasetyo to reporters, Jakarta, Thursday, September 8, 2022.

The statement at the same time dismissed information that the two police chiefs had tried to "lobby" the high-ranking police officer at the beginning of the case.

"They (the two police chiefs) also stated that they were not involved in any scenario in the case," continued Dedi.

Dedi said the special team (Timsus) and the Special Inspectorate (Irsus) continued to work transparently and professionally in investigating the shooting case of Brigadier J.

So, according to him, Irsus and Timsus will work in accordance with the findings and facts that were found. Not just wild assumptions whose truth cannot be justified.
