JAKARTADAILY.ID – The Indonesian Witness and Victim Protection Agency (LPSK) will submit a recommendation for a reduced sentence to the Attorney General's Office (AGO) for the suspect Bharada Richard Eliezer, also known as Bharada E.
Deputy Chairperson of the LPSK, Susilaningtias, said that the recommendation was a follow-up to the LPSK's decision to grant Bharada E's request as a justice collaborator or witness to the perpetrators who collaborated to uncover the case for the murder of Brigadier J.
"Later, we will coordinate with the relevant Attorney General's Office for what kind of trial process. We will also convey our recommendations for a reduction in sentences in the near future," said Deputy Chair of the LPSK, Susilaningtias as reported by PMJnews, Thursday, September 1, 2022.

However, Susi did not want to speculate whether later Bharada E could get a lighter verdict by the panel of judges. This is because everything depends on the consistency of the information in question during the trial.
"Depending on the judge, we will once again send a letter of attention to the judge regarding his role as JC and the facts will also be revealed at trial. What we maintain is consistency in revealing this case," she said.
Susi added that LPSK will coordinate with the Attorney General's Office regarding the case file for suspect Bharada E which has been submitted to the Prosecutor's Office from the National Police Investigator and is declared P19 or must be completed by investigators.
