JAKARTADAILY.ID – The construction of the Sepaku Ring Road, which is a national road and the main access to the new Capital City of Nusantara (IKN Nusantara), is almost complete. The physical progress of Segment 1 to segment 3 of road construction is at 77 percent.
The national budget allocation for the construction of the Sepaku Ring Road is divided into three packages with a total value of Rp 103.772 billion.
Head of the East Kalimantan National Road Implementation Center (BBPJN) of The Ministry of Public Works and Housing (PUPR) Junaidi said, that the total length of the roads financed through the APBN was around 2.91 kilometers.

"The construction of the Sepaku ring road segment 1 with a length of 0.75 kilometers, the construction of the Sepaku ring road segment 2 with a length of 1.04 kilometers, and the construction of the Sepaku ring road segment 3, with a length of 1.12 kilometers," he explained.
The construction of the Sepaku ring road segments 1 to 3 is carried out through an advanced Multi-Year Contract (MYC) scheme. The work on segment 1 was carried out by PT Prampus Inti Puspita with a contract value of Rp 46,693 billion.
Then, the construction of the Sepaku ring road segment 2, was carried out by PT Duta Mega Perkasa worth Rp 48.021 billion. Furthermore, the construction of the Sepaku ring road segment 3 was carried out by PT Cipta Artha Borneo with a budget of Rp 44.8 billion.

Junaidi also said that currently the construction of the Segment 4 Sepaku Ring Road has been completed and the tender can be carried out immediately.
"Project tenders for the construction of the Segment 4 Sepaku Ring Road have been opened with a package ceiling value of IDR 193.47 billion, and contract preparation," Junaidi said.
The development of IKN Nusantara will be carried out in stages until 2045 by carrying out the concept of "Future Smart Forest City of Indonesia" so that it still pays attention to environmental aspects.

In the early stages in 2022-2024, the development that will be the priority of the Ministry of PUPR includes the Central Government Core Area (KIPP) covering an area of 6,671 hectares.
The priority infrastructure to be built by the Ministry of PUPR includes the Presidential Palace, the State Mosque, offices of Ministries/Institutions, the arrangement of the National Axis and Tripraja Areas, ASN housing, access roads, and early-stage environmental roads, as well as basic infrastructure for settlements such as the provision of raw water through the Sepaku Semoi dam and several other dams.
