JAKARTADAILY.ID – The Police have named General Ferdy Sambo's wife, Putri Candrawati, initials PC, as a suspect in the murder case of Brigadier J.
The police named PC as a suspect after investigators conducted an in-depth examination of the available evidence and conducted a case title.
"Investigators have carried out an in-depth examination with Scientific Crime Investigation, including with the available evidence, and have already filed a case," The Head of General Supervision Police Commissioner General Agung Budi Maryoto at a press conference at the National Police Headquarters, Friday 19 August 2022.

Meanwhile, the Director of General Crimes (Dirtipidum) of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Indonesian National Police, Brigadier General Andi Rian Djajadi, revealed that the suspect PC had been examined 3 times. For the fourth examination scheduled for Friday, August 19, 2022 PC was unable to attend due to illness.
"Without the presence of the person concerned, the investigator carried out a case title, and also based on the first two pieces of evidence, namely witness testimony and CCTV evidence," he explained.
Andi added that the suspect PC was charged with Article 340 of the subsidiary Criminal Code, Article 338 in conjunction with Article 55 in conjunction with Article 56 of the Criminal Code, with the threat of the death penalty.

With Putri named as a suspect, the number of suspects has increased to five people.
Previously, the National Police had named four suspects, including Inspector General Pol Ferdy Sambo, Bharada Richard Eliezer or Bharada E, Bripka Ricky Rizal, and a Sambo household member named Strong Ma'ruf.
