Indonesian National Police Denies Ties to the Gambling Consortium in the Police Force, Vows to Eradicate it

These two issues were uncovered in the aftermath of the Brigadier J murder case. It is said the 303 Consortium and the "empire" in the Bhayangkara Corps were headed by Inspector General of Police Ferdy Sambo.

Responding to the news, National Police spokesperson, Inspector General of Police Dedi Prasetyo, emphasized that his party would take firm action against all "public illnesses" such as Gambling, thuggery, and drug activities.

"No need to be informed, if that's the case, we will take firm action," he continued.

The use of code 303 on online Gambling sites may identify or make it easier for "players" to identify online Gambling offers.

So, the 303 consortia can be interpreted as a Gambling site company that is managed by more than two or more people.

Meanwhile, the news about the “Empire” within internal Police was first revealed by Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal, and Security Affairs Mahfud MD.

He revealed that the suspect in the murder case of Brigadier J, Ferdy Sambo, had a large group within the National Police which he described as the ruling empire. Mahfud mentions its as sub-Headquarters.

"What is clear is that there are obstacles in a structural way because it cannot be denied that there is a Sambo group itself which is like a police empire within it.
