Brigadier J's Body Exhumed This Morning From His Grave in Sungai Bahar, Jambi

JAKARTADAILY.ID – This morning, on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, the body of Brigadier J or Brigadier Nofriansyah Yosua Hutabarat underwent an exhumation and re-autopsy.

National Police spokesperson, Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo, said the exhumation involved the Forensic Medicine of the Police, the Indonesian Forensic Medicine Association, forensic experts from several universities, and lawyers.

"This morning an autopsy was carried out," Dedi told reporters.

The process of exhumation of Brigadier J's grave was held at 07.00 AM local time at the Suka Makmur Village Public Cemetery, Sungai Bahar District, Muaro Jambi Regency, Jambi.

The graveyard where Brigadier J's grave was located was closely guarded by community organizations and the police had been busy since the early hours of the morning.

In fact, residents and police officers have been on guard at the graveyard for a few days before the scheduled exhumation, on Wednesday.

The exhumation and re-autopsy of Brigadier J's body were carried out because the family did not accept the results of the autopsy conducted at the Kramat Jati Police Hospital and requested the body be exhumed and re-examined.
