National Police Chief Appoints Brigadier General Anggoro Sukartono as Acting Head of Internal Security Bureau

JAKARTADAILY.ID – Indonesian Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo appointed Brigadier General Anggoro Sukartono as Head of the Internal Security Bureau (Paminal) Daily Executor of the National Police Head of Professional and Security Division (Propam) Division.

Brigadier General Anggoro replaced Brigadier General Hendra Kurniawan, who was disabled in connection with the death of Brigadier J at the house of the former head of the Propam Division Inspector General Ferdi Sambo.

The appointment was based on the Police Chief's Order Number: Sprin/2149/VII/KEP./2022 dated 22 July 2022. Previously, Brigadier General Anggoro Sukartono served as Head of Professional Accountability Bureau (Karowabprof) of the National Police's Propam Division.

"The appointment of Karowabprof Divpropam Polri (Brigjen Pol Anggoro Sukartono) as Daily Executor (Plh) for Karopaminal Divpropam Polri," said National Police Spokeperson, Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo in his statement, Sunday, July 24, 2022.

In addition to the previous, National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo has disabled two high-ranking officers and one middle officer in connection with the emergence of the shooting case of Brigadier J.

First, Inspector General Ferdy Sambo, who was deactivated as Head of the Propam Division. Second, Brigadier General Hendra Kurniawan was deactivated as Karopaminal. And third, Kombes Budhi Herdi Susianto was deactivated as the South Jakarta Metro Police Chief.
