JAKARTADAILY.ID - Ridwan Kamil, the father of Emmeril Kahn Mumtadz, better known as Eril, who was drown at Aare river in Bern, Switzerland, said the body of his son will be burried on Monday, June 13, 2022.
Eril's body was found near a dam in the Aare River, Bern, Switzerland.
The news about the discovery of Eril's body came first from the Bern Police and was later confirmed by the Indonesian Embassy in Switzerland.
Netizens can also see posting updates from the personal accounts of Ridwan Kamil and Atalia Praratya, Eril's mother.
"Allahu Akbar (Allah is Great). Alhamdulillah, you have answered our prayer. The body of my son: Emmeril Kahn Mumtadz has been found," said Ridwan Kamil, expressing his gratitude for the discovery of Eril's body.
This Instagram post, from @ridwankamil, was posted Thursday, June 9, 2022, at around 10.30 P.M.

Eril's mother Atalia also posted an update about Eril's body discovery via her Instagram account @ataliapr.
"The DNA has been declared the same as mine," she said.
Ridwan Kamil, the governor of West Java, also thanked the Indonesian Embassy in Switzerland and the Police at Bern City for their tirelessly hard works in efforts to find Eril.
"Eril's body, God willing, will return to his homeland on Sunday and be buried on Monday," he said, without mentioning the location of the burial of his eldest son.
Previously, Eril was declared drowned after he was swept by the current in the Aare river when he was swimming in the river on May 26, 2022.
After following the search and rescue team for about a week, on June 3, 2022, the family stated that they believe Eril has died.
Eril was in Switzerland to continue his study for a master's degree after he graduated from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering from Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB).
