Politician Urges Ministry of Health to Take Action Regarding Terawan's Dismissal from IDI

JAKARTADAILY.ID - The dismissal of the former Minister of Health (Menkes) Terawan Agus Putranto from The Indonesian Medical Association (IDI) has drawn reactions from several parties.

Terawan Agus Putranto has been dismissed from IDI based on the recommendation of the Honorary Council for the Medical Ethics Code (MKEK) at the 31st PB IDI congress in Banda Aceh.

One of the people who responded to Terawan's dismissal from IDI was Saleh Partaonan Daulay. He stated regret for the dismissal of former Indonesia's Minister of Health from IDI, especially since the dismissal was carried out permanently.

Saleh Partaonan Daulay said that he was quite surprised by the decision to dismiss Terawan from membership as IDI.

Saleh Partaonan said that the Minister of Health Budi Gunadi Sadikin should also not remain silent regarding this matter.

Previously, the results of the MKEK special session meeting decided on the permanent dismissal of Terawan Agus Putranto from IDI membership.
