Cooking oil is an important food processing ingredient for households and small businesses in Indonesia. Various brands of packaged cooking oil are available on the market, however, their prices may vary.
Indomaret, which sells it online through the website www.klikindomaret.com, offers Fortune brand refillable palm cooking oil with a capacity of 2 liters worth Rp. 28,000; the Sovia 2 Liter brand is IDR 28,000, and the Bimoli 2 Liter brand is IDR 28,000. As for the Bimoli brand, 1-liter refill packs are sold for Rp. 14,000. Indomaret also provides cooking oil made from Barco's coconut at a value of IDR 68,100 per 2 liters and IDR 33,500 per 1 liter.

Superindo offers special cooking oil for the Government Program worth IDR 14,000 per 1 liter. Purchase this cooking oil with a note, a maximum purchase of 2 liters. This premium cooking oil is sold through the Superindo Brochure which is valid from 14-17 February 2022. This cooking oil program was initiated by the Indonesian Ministry of Trade together with the Indonesian Retail Entrepreneurs Association (Aprindo).
Hypermart also offers palm-based cooking oil in various brands on their hypermart.co.id page. Sania Royale Cooking Oil Pouch 2L brand refillable cooking oil is sold for IDR 43,390.
Previously, the government of the Republic of Indonesia had issued a regulation regarding the selling price of palm cooking oil through the Regulation of the Minister of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia Number 06 of 2022 dated January 26, 2022, concerning the Determination of the Highest Retail Price of Palm Cooking Oil, in which in the regulation Palm Cooking Oil consists of Bulk Cooking Oil; Simple Packaged Cooking Oil; and Premium Packaged Cooking Oil.
The regulation stipulates that the Highest Retail Price is IDR 11,500 per liter, for Bulk Cooking Oil. IDR 13,500 per Liter, for Simple Packaged Cooking Oil. And Rp. 14,000 per liter, for Premium Packaged Cooking Oil. (*)
