Gerindra Secretary-General: Prabowo to Run As Presidential Candidate in 2024

JAKARTADAILY.ID - Gerindra's Secretary-General Ahmad Muzani has declared the name of the presidential candidate that his party will nominate.

The Gerindra Party has appointed the Indonesian Minister of Defense, Prabowo Subianto, as the candidate it will send to the 2024 presidential election.

"In 2024, Insya Allah [God willing], Prabowo will run as a presidential candidate from the Gerindra Party," Ahmad said.

"The chance is that, if you look at all survey institutions, Prabowo is number one," he said.

Prabowo is believed to have high electability among the public, so the Gerindra Party considers him the strongest candidate.
