JAKARTADAILY.ID - Covid-19 cases in Indonesia are back on the rise. Now the spread has also impacted the sports world.
As quoted by Pikiran-Rakyat.com from Antaranews.com on Tuesday, 1 February 2020, there are 52 BRI#Liga 1 Indonesia players who were tested positive for Covid-19.
This was revealed by the Covid-19 Task Force doctor, Alfan Nur Asyhar, on Tuesday, February 1, 2022
"In total there are 52 players and 16 officials from 12 teams," said Alfan at a press conference in Jakarta yesterday
Alfan explained that, in general, the infected do not experience severe symptoms and some are asymptomatic.
"The healing time varies, with a maximum of 14 days, there are five, 10, and 14 days. However, for ordinary athletes, it usually takes three to five days to recover. Isolation places are provided in Ubud and Kuta areas. Task Force will of course continue to monitor them," he continued.

The Covid-19 Task Force has been doing their best to prevent the spread by implementing the bubble system and regular PCR swab tests.
"We did PCR swab test for the one day before the match at 10.00-11.00 in the morning. The results came out in the afternoon. If someone is tested positive, then the next day or the D-day, all team personnel will be retested. After that, they will be tested (through the antigen method) again. Only the ones with negative results can join the match," added Alfan.
