JAKARTADAILY.ID - The government has updated the data on the number of COVID-19 cases in Indonesia. In the past few days, the number of COVID-19 cases in Indonesia has spiked. Based on the latest data, the number of COVID-19 cases as of January 30, 2022, reached 4,343,185 cases.

The addition of active cases in the last 24 hours reached 9,163 cases, so the active cases of COVID-19 reached 61,718 people as of Sunday.

Meanwhile, as many as 3,241 people who have been declared free of COVID-19 have recovered on Sunday.

This number adds to the total number of recovered patients since the first case in Indonesia, which has now reached 4,137,164. On the other hand, the number of COVID-19 patients who died on Sunday increased by 18. The number of casualties increased compared to the previous day.

The total number of COVID-19 patients who died in Indonesia has reached 144,303 people.

Then, for COVID-19 infectee suspects, the number reached 7,598 cases.

Previously, as of Saturday, January 29, 2022, COVID-19 cases in Indonesia were 4,330,763. Meanwhile, active cases sat at 52,555 after adding 8,981 daily cases.

According to the Head of Diseases Prevention and Control of the Jakarta Health Department, Dwi Oktavia, the active cases in Jakarta had risen by 3,978 as of Saturday.
