JAKARTADAILY.ID – To celebrate the 77th Bhayangkara Day on July 1, 2023, the Indonesian National Police (Polri) has organized a creative content competition encompassing 7 categories, including TikTok, short films, infographics, photography, short story writing, storytelling, and journalistic article writing.
Inspector General Sandi Nugroho, Head of the Police Public Relations Division, stated that the competition aims to encourage the public, Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), Polri, and journalists to express their creativity in support of Polri's development.

"The competition categories include TikTok Competition for general participants, TNI, and Polri; Infographic Competition for general participants, TNI, and Polri; Short Film Competition for general participants, TNI, and Polri; Photography Competition for general participants, TNI, and Polri; Journalistic Article Writing Competition for journalists; Storytelling Competition for Kindergarten B category (ages 5-6) and Elementary School (grades 1-3, ages 6-9); Short Story Writing Competition for participants from elementary, junior high, and high school levels," Sandi explained in a written statement quoted from PMJNews on Monday, June 5, 2023.
Sandi mentioned that five of the competition categories, namely TikTok, short films, infographics, photography, and journalistic articles, carry the theme "Bitter-Sweet Polri Journey." These categories have sub-themes such as TNI-Polri Synergy, Community Service, Polri's Support for People with Disabilities, Police Recruitment, Border Police Activities, Police Security Activities, and Peaceful Election Campaigns.
For the short story and storytelling competition, the chosen theme is "Good Police," and participants can select sub-themes such as My Friend Police, My Hero Police, and My Idol Police.
Sandi also provided information that the terms and conditions for each competition category can be found on the official social media accounts of the Police Public Relations Division on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, Snack Video, and Helo. Additional details can be accessed on the official Police News Portal, Tribratanews.polri.go.id.
"Register now for the competition, whether you are brothers, fathers, mothers, students, or TNI and Polri personnel. Stand a chance to win prizes worth hundreds of millions of rupiah, and the competition will be judged by professionals in their respective fields," he urged.
The schedule for the competition activities is as follows:
a. May 29 to June 15, 2023: Registration through the TBNews website at tribratanews.polri.go.id;
b. June 16, 2023: Curation of works;
c. June 17 to June 20, 2023: Judging;
d. June 21, 2023: Winners' announcement via live streaming on the official social media of the Police Public Relations Division;
e. June 27, 2023: Awarding Day, where the Chief of Police will present the awards to the winners.
