JAKARTADAILY.ID – A Bell-412 helicopter belonging to the Indonesian Army met with an accident during its involvement in supporting pre-assignment training for the 300/BJW Infantry Battalion.
The incident occurred in the Boyongbong Village area of Patenggang Village, Rancabali District, Bandung Regency, West Java, on Sunday, May 28, 2023.
The helicopter is believed to have crashed and caught fire at approximately 13:30 WIB (Western Indonesia Time).
Fortunately, there were no reported casualties among the Indonesian National Army (TNI AD) soldiers participating in the training or the surrounding community.

According to the official website of the Army Information Service (Dispenad), all five crew members aboard the Bell 412 helicopter are safe.
They sustained injuries from the impact and have been promptly evacuated to Dustira Hospital in Cimahi for medical treatment.
The Indonesian Army's Aviation Center (Puspenerbad) operated the helicopter during the pre-assignment training, which involved both air mobilization and logistical support.
Authorities are currently investigating the chronology and causes of the helicopter crash.
The Indonesian Army has dispatched an investigation team to examine the circumstances surrounding the Bell 412 helicopter accident.
