JAKARTADAILY.ID – A 28-year-old Caucasian woman named Darja Tuschinski from Germany, who interrupted a Balinese dance performance at Puri Saraswati Ubud, Gianyar Regency, Bali, is suspected to be suffering from depression, according to the police.
Authorities have revealed that the Caucasian individual who was naked in public might be experiencing psychiatric disorders, specifically depression, due to financial difficulties.
"Foreigners DT experience psychiatric disorders/depression because they no longer have money to live in Bali," said the Head of Public Relations at the Bali Police, Kombes. Pol. Stefanus Satake Bayu Setiato in Denpasar, Bali, on Thursday, May 25, 2023.

The incident involving Darja Tuschinski occurred on Monday, May 22, 2023, at Puri Saraswati Ubud, Gianyar, during a dance performance. Witnesses reported that the incident took place at approximately 8:00 PM local time.
According to eyewitness testimony, Darja Tuschinski arrived at Puri Saraswati at 7:30 PM while the dance performance was underway on the Puri Saraswati stage. She was observed engaging in an argument with the ticket booth clerk for no apparent reason.
The foreigner proceeded to forcefully enter the venue and then removed her clothing before joining in the dancing.
Subsequently, Puri Saraswati officers apprehended the German national for behaving inappropriately in front of the audience and reported the incident to the Ubud Police in Gianyar.
The Ubud Police investigation revealed that Tuschinski had been staying at Ubud Bungalow, located on Jalan Raya Monkey Forest Ubud, Gianyar.
Satake stated that according to statements from the bungalow's staff, Tuschinski checked in at Ubud Bungalow on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at 1:00 PM local time and planned to depart on May 22, 2023.
During her stay, Tuschinski lived alone and was frequently seen naked in the bungalow area, causing discomfort among other guests.
After being escorted to I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport in Tuban, Badung at 7:00 AM local time, Tuschinski returned to Ubud Bungalow around 12:00 PM. She requested permission to temporarily stay in the lobby, claiming to be awaiting her girlfriend.
"At 7:00 PM, the bungalow staff asked Tuschinski to leave due to disturbances caused to other guests. Tuschinski left the bungalow but left her bag and suitcase behind," said Satake.
