According to Minister Yaqut, acts of violence cannot be justified, whatever the motives and goals. "I strongly condemn every act of violence, including the shooting that took place at the MUI office," he said.
The Minister of Religion also expressed his support for the national police in identifying the perpetrator.
"From the address listed on the KTP, it is known that the perpetrator is a citizen of Lampung Province. Therefore, the police are coordinating with the Lampung Regional Police to identify the identity and biography of the perpetrator. We support the Police to identify the perpetrators," he explained.
