JAKARTADAILY.ID – The Al Jabbar Grand Mosque and its surrounding areas are reopened today on the first day of Ramadan 1444 Hijriah or Thursday, March 23, 2023, after being temporarily closed for maintenance since February 27, 2023.
Main Expert Policy Analyst of the Regional Secretariat of West Java Province Dewi Sartika appealed to people who will worship at the Great Al Jabbar Mosque to obey the rules of conduct, both inside the mosque area and outside the mosque area.
"This needs to be done so that people can worship at the Great Al Jabbar Mosque in a calm, orderly, and comfortable manner, especially during the Holy Month of Ramadan," said Dewi in Bandung City, Thursday, March 23, 2023.
Dewi said that the order of the Great Al Jabbar Mosque was divided into two, namely the order in the mosque area and the order outside the mosque area.

The rules in the mosque area are not allowed to eat and drink, not to talk or chat and joke, to turn off or make sure cellphones are in silent mode, and place luggage on the front side.
"Then for those who bring children, please take care of and always accompany their children for the sake of mutual comfort," said Dewi.
While the regulations outside the mosque area are prohibiting smoking throughout the mosque area, using gender-adjusted lanes, maintaining cleanliness, always disposing of trash in its place, prohibiting selling in the mosque area or area, and not swimming in the garden pool area.
Dewi stated that the order was drafted to ensure order, security, comfort, and cleanliness in the Great Al Jabbar Mosque area.
"We appeal to all members of the public and congregation who will visit the Great Al Jabbar Mosque to follow all regulations, both inside the mosque area and outside the mosque area," he said.
