JAKARTADAILY.ID – Approaching the holy month of Ramadan 1444 Hijriah, Metro Jaya Inspector General Fadil Imran announced to the public not to do anything that might disturb the peace, specifically riding in a convoy and lighting fireworks and firecrackers
The announcement, which was signed directly by the Kapolda Metro Jaya Inspector General Fadil Imran, was registered with Number: Mak/01/III/2023 dated March 15.
Kabid Humas Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko said the purpose of the announcement was to realize and maintain public security and order (Kamtibmas) throughout the jurisdiction of Polda Metro Jaya.
"In order to create security and comfort for the people in the jurisdiction of Polda Metro Jaya," said Wisnu Andiko, quoted from the humas.polri.go.id page, Monday, March 20, 2023.
Some of the points emphasized in the announcement are related to vehicle convoys, firecrackers, wild races, and brawls.

Kombes Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko also emphasized that if acts contrary to the announcement were found, the police would take firm action in accordance with the mandate of Article 212 of the Criminal Code, Article 216 paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code, and Article 218 of the Criminal Code.
"If a violation is found, members of Polda Metro Jaya can take police action in accordance with applicable laws and regulations," Wisnu said.
In addition, Wisnu Andiko appealed to the public to jointly maintain security and order so that fasting can run safely and comfortably.
"Let's take care together ahead of the Ramadhan Fasting Service so that the worship is safe and comfortable so that we can worship properly," he asked.
