Indonesian Remake of 'Miracle in Cell No.7' Gets Positive Response from Audience

JAKARTADAILY.ID – "Miracle in Cell No. 7" has aired on Thursday, September 8, 2022 in all Indonesian cinema.

This adaptation movie is directed by Hanung Bramantyo, produced by Frederica, and adapted to Bahasa Indonesia by Alim Sudio.

Many viewers said that this Indonesia's adaptation of the comedy-drama film managed to make tears flow.

The Director Hanung Bramantyo said, reveal that the toughest scene in Miracle in Cell No. 7 is the hot air balloon flight scene.

“The toughest scene was actually the balloon flight. So that's a scene where we really need a big wall building. How can the wall be used for hot air balloons to pass, and we don't use real balloons for sure, but we use artificial balloons which are then pulled with a crane, "explained Hanung.

Indra Jegel who plays Atmo also experience the same thing as Hanung in Balloon fliht scene.

“The treatment is unbelievably complicated. The balloon has to go up and down, up and down. Meanwhile, the engine, the tondano, can't be that fast. So slowly, slowly, slowly, slowly, keep repeating it again slowly, slowly, slowly, slowly, and again," he explained.

However, Graciella Abigail, who plays as young Kartika, who is actually in the scene, actually said that her experience was an exciting thing.

"It's fun, rocking like it's about to fall," said Graciella.
