JAKARTADAILY.ID – Letterboxd, a social media platform dedicated to movie lovers posted their list of top 10 most popular movies this week on their official Instagram page, and, surprise, four of them are Marvel movies.

It's not just Disney and Marvel, however, with two original feature films making their way on the list, one of them being the special effects extravaganza starring Michelle Yeoh, "Everything Everywhere All At Once," placing a pretty high spot.

Not to mention the heavily memed "Minions: The Rise of Gru," which inspired young people to dress up in suits to see the movie in droves as a joke.

Here are the top 10 movies according to Letterboxd:

1. Thor: Love and Thunder

Thor embarks on a journey unlike anything he's ever faced -- a quest for inner peace. However, his retirement gets interrupted by Gorr the God Butcher, a galactic killer who seeks the extinction of the gods. To combat the threat, Thor enlists the help of King Valkyrie, Korg and ex-girlfriend Jane Foster, who -- to his surprise -- inexplicably wields his magical hammer. Together, they set out on a harrowing cosmic adventure to uncover the mystery of the God Butcher's vengeance.
