EVOS Esports Partners with Avarik Saga, One of the First Metaverse NFT P2E RPG in Indonesia  

JAKARTADAILY.ID – EVOS Esports, an Indonesia-based esports organization popular in Southeast Asia, has partnered with Avarik Saga. 

Avarik Saga is an Indonesian-made role-playing game, or RPG with a Non-Fungible Token (NFT) Play to Earn (P2E) Metaverse. 

Kevin Cahya, CEO of Avarik Saga said, "We want to bring fun to the NFT P2E Metaverse gaming space. In the end, the point of the game itself should be fun. Powerful knowledge that lures users into the Avarik Saga Universe, clear and engaging game mechanics, and content that makes players want to come back to play are key."

"P2E is a mechanism that can only be a worthwhile endeavor if a game is able to create excitement and value for society," he said in a press release on Tuesday.

In September 2021, Avarik Saga released the first playable collection of NFT characters from the 8,888 NFT Genesis, which sold out in under an hour. Currently, this genesis collection is available for trading on a secondary NFT marketplace called OpenSea. Future holders and players can await the game's official launch in Q3 2022.

Meanwhile, EVOS CMO Michael Wijaya stated, "We are very pleased that EVOS can help Avarik Saga enter the existing local gaming community and introduce Indonesia's first NFT P2E Metaverse RPG game and build a solid relationship to pioneer the blockchain gaming experience," he said.

To illustrate, the first phase of the game is Dungeon Crawler PvE (Player versus Enemy), where players can strategically combine three heroes with different factions, classes, weapons, skills, and other details to conquer dungeons. Players will be able to collect resources, crafting materials, and level up characters, skills, weapons, and armor, giving them the full role-playing experience in the Avarik Saga metaverse.  

EVOS is the only esports team spread across Southeast Asia, with regional teams in Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, and Singapore.
