JAKARTADAILY.ID – The National Police revealed the origin of dozens of illegal firearms belonging to an Indonesian pilot named Anton Gobay who was arrested by the Philippine authorities some time ago.
"AG bought weapons from someone using an alias in the Danao City area, Cebu Province," explained the Head of Public Relations Division of the National Police, Inspector General of Police Dedi Prasetyo as quoted by pmjnews on Wednesday, January 11, 2023.
Dedi said that Anton had 12 illegal firearms, of which ten were in the form of an M4 rifle without ammunition, which was said to cost 50 thousand pesos or Rp 14 million.

"(Firearms) in the form of 10 long-barreled rifles of the caliber M4 type (5.56 millimeters), worth 50 thousand pesos, without ammunition," said Inspector General Dedi.
He added that there were two short-barreled Ingram rifles of 9mm caliber without ammunition.
The price of the short-barreled gun is said to reach 45,000 pesos.
"(There are) two short-barreled Ingram rifles (9mm), worth 45 thousand pesos, without ammunition," he explained.
