JAKARTADAILY.ID – The CEO of Tesla and Twitter made an appearance at the B20 or Business 20 event in Bali on Monday, November 14, 2022.

The B20 is the business counterpart to the G20 Summit currently being held in Denpasar, Bali.

During a discussion titled "Navigating Future Disruption of Global Technologic Innovation," Musk spoke about the current tech that his companies, such as SpaceX, Tesla, and Boring Company, are currently developing.

Elon Musk who was present virtually looked different in a green shirt. And what caught the public's attention was the shirt motif he was wearing, namely Batik Bomba.

"The beauty of Bomba batik is very implicit, where not only the strokes of the motif but from the area where nickel is found which is the main component of electric vehicles. This is in accordance with Musk's business empire," said Anindya Bakrie when guiding the B20 Summit on Monday.

Batik Bomba is used as a cultural heritage from Central Sulawesi and must be preserved. When examined more deeply, the Bomba batik motif is similar to weaving.

Basically, batik and weaving in Palu are known as "Bomba" batik.

Bomba batik craftsmen are passed down from one generation to another. When made, Bomba batik still uses traditional looms. In fact, the coloring is made from tree sap, so the color is still very natural.

Bomba Batik has a variety of motifs, and over time these motifs continue to grow. In fact, most of Bomba's batik motifs are taken from culture, plants, and fishermen's artwork about love and life.

Bomba is taken from the Kaili language which is one of the tribes in Central Sulawesi. Bomba means beautiful flower.

The local community believes that Bomba has openness and togetherness which is adapted from the daily life and lives of local residents.
