Minister of Trade Zulkifli Proud of Klamby for Being the First Indonesian Fashion Brand at London Fashion Week

JAKARTADAILY.ID – Minister of Trade Zulkifli Hasan revealed that the Ministry of Trade supports the participation of Indonesian Muslim fashion in the London Fashion Week 2022 event.

"I congratulate and appreciate Klamby. A proud thing for Indonesia, Klamby is the first Indonesian fashion brand to successfully appear at the prestigious London Fashion Week 2022, one of the world's 'The Big Four' Fashion Weeks," said Minister of Trade Zulkifli Hasan reported by Kemendag.go.id, Tuesday, September 13, 2022.

Minister of Trade Zulkifli Hasan said Indonesia has a variety of local wisdom with a very large potential for the Muslim fashion market.

The world's Muslim population is equivalent to 25 percent of the world's total population. By 2060, the number of Muslims is predicted to increase to 30 percent of the global population.

To support Muslim fashion, the Government has opened trade cooperation with countries in the Middle East, Africa, and Central Asia where the majority of the population is Muslim. This includes products other than fashion such as jewelry, both gold, and silver.

"Indonesia has a wealth of cultural diversity, thereby increasing the opportunities for Muslim fashion exports.

Therefore, it is hoped that all parties will cooperate so that Indonesia can become a mecca for Muslim fashion in the world," said Trade Minister Zulkifli Hasan.

Meanwhile, in her speech, Nadine said that Klamby's success is part of the great success for the Indonesian fashion industry. Said the Founder & Creative Director of Klamby, Nadine Gaus who was also present at the press conference of Klamby's participation in the official fashion show event at London Fashion Week 2022.

We are grateful for the support from various stakeholders so that we can participate in the international fashion show at London Fashion Week 2022.
