JAKARTADAILY.ID – Indonesian Minister of Manpower, Ida Fauziyah welcomed the offer from WIFI Burgenland, a Vocational Training Center from Switzerland, to cooperate in developing training programs in the field of green energy and electric vehicles.

WIFI Burgenland is a Vocational Training Center founded by the Austrian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Minister Ida said WIFI Burgenland was founded by the Austrian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and its training standards are recognized by the industry.

She also expressed his desire to learn from WIFI how to encourage industry participants to be involved in the development of vocational training.

"I want to learn from WIFI Burgenland, how to encourage industry participants to be involved in developing vocational training, especially in the field of green energy and electric vehicles," said Ida Fauziah when visiting WIFI Burgenland in Eisenstadt, Austria, on Tuesday, June 14, 2022.

According to Minister Ida, from the VTC Maritime Development cooperation financed through a soft loan by the Austrian Government in 2021, instructors from BBPVP Medan and BBPVP Serang were sent to the WIFI Vocational Training Center to take part in the Training of Trainers training.

"We see that the competence of the instructor is very decisive on the quality of the training graduates," she said.

This competence, continued the Minister of Manpower, is not only in the form of hard skills but also soft skills. Therefore, even though the VTC Maritime Development cooperation will end, he hopes that the cooperation between the Ministry of Manpower and WIFI will continue.

"Hopefully this collaboration with WIFI will continue so that we can implement it in Indonesia," she said.
