Johnny G. Plate Inaugurates the g20.org Portal

JAKARTADAILY.ID - As Indonesia assumes the G20 Presidency, the Ministry of Communication and Information has launched a special and multilanguage website at g20.org.

With the start of the G20 Indonesia Presidency, it will also automatically mark the launch of the g20.org chairmanship portal which will serve as a reference for the entire series of activities of the G20 Forum, the Minister of Communication and Information (Kominfo) Johnny G. Plate stated in Jakarta, on Thursday.

"This portal will be managed by the Ministry of Communication and Informatics. We hope that later this portal will also become a reference for information on all G20 activities and activities," he said.

According to Minister Johnny, the portal provides multilingual access according to the language used by representatives of G20 members. "Not only is it available in English, but Kominfo will also provide it in multilingual form. We will prepare this later, still 1 year ahead. We will follow what is at least, at least the same as the previous G20 websites," he explained.

The Minister of Communication and Information explained that there were more than 150 activities in the G20 Presidency series which were held in 9 cities in Indonesia. The peak will be the Summit at the end of October 2022.

"There are many activities starting through the Sherpa Track starting from the 7th to the 7th. December 9, 2021. Then proceed with the Finance Track on the 9th to the d. December 10 this month. Furthermore, the agendas will be carried out in various cities in Indonesia," he explained. (*)
