JAKARTADAILY.ID - A new C - 130J -30 Super Hercules military transport aircraft will fly to Indonesia and become part of the air defense force in the country. The Indonesian Ambassador to the United States Rosan Perkasa Roeslani confirmed the departure of the wide-body aircraft.
"Yesterday I also witnessed the handover of the C-130J-30 Super Hercules aircraft to the Air Force Chief of Staff (Kasau) Marshal TNI Fadjar Prasetyo in Marietta, Georgia, United States of America," wrote Rosan in an upload on his Instagram account @rosanroeslani, Thursday ( 23/2/2023).

Rosan explained that the C-130J-30 Super Hercules aircraft was handed over by Vice President (VP) and General Manager for Lockheed Martin's Air Mobility and Maritime Missions Organization Rod McLean to Kasau. The release was carried out in an official ceremony.
"The handover was also witnessed by the Secretary General of the Ministry of Defense (Secretary General of the Ministry of Defense) Marsdya TNI Donny Ermawan," said Rosan.
He also added that the C-130J-30 Super Hercules A-1339 aircraft will depart from the United States on February 28, 2023, and is expected to arrive in Indonesia on March 6, 2023. The flight will be accompanied by three Indonesian Air Force crew members.
The next C-130J Super Hercules aircraft are scheduled to arrive in stages throughout the year in June, July, and October, before the final unit comes in January 2024.
"Hopefully the C-130J-30 Super Hercules A-1339 aircraft arrives in Indonesia safely and its arrival will further strengthen the ranks of the Indonesian Air Force's Hercules aircraft," concluded Rosan. (*)
