Ministry of Tourism Launches 'Beti Dewi,' Tour Packages for Tourism Villages

Through these packages, people can have alternative vacation options, such as staying overnight in homestays, camping, learning to play traditional musical instruments, exploring nature, and many more while interacting with local residents in tourist villages.

She also invited tourism village managers to participate in including their tour packages in this program.

"For two weeks many village tourism friends have been very cooperative in entering their products into the Mister Aladin platform, with dedicated village tourism features," said Nitha.

Minister of Tourism Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno hopes that "Beti Dewi," which is a follow-up program from ADWI, can increase the level of tourist visits to tourist villages so that they can continue to encourage economic revival and open jobs.

The development of tourist villages is a locomotive in maintaining the momentum of post-pandemic economic revival.

"Hopefully this program will further stimulate tourist visits to tourist villages," said Tourism Minister Sandiaga.
