JAKARTADAILY.ID – Indonesian Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy will hold the 2022 Indonesian Tourism Village Award (ADWI 2022) on Sunday, October 30, 2022.
"This 2022 ADWI Peak Night is an award for selected tourist villages as a form of appreciation for their success in developing a tourism village that is sustainable, globally competitive, and world-class," said the Indonesian Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Sandiaga Uno, Monday, October 17, 2022.
Sandiaga invites the public to participate in the assessment of the most favorite tourist village by giving a "like" on the profile video of the ADWI 2022 Tourism Village on the Ministry of Tourism YouTube channel which can be done from October 24 – 28, 2022.

"To support the ADWI 2022 Favorite Tourism Village, you can do it by opening a Ministry of Tourism youtube account; selecting a video on the ADWI 2022 playlist; clicking on the tourist village video you want; watch the video until it runs out. Don't forget to like, comment, and subscribe," said the Sandiga.
Visitation and assessment activities for the Top 50 ADWI 2022 Tourism Villages have been completed on October 15, 2022, ending in the Baduy Cultural Saba Tourism Village, Lebak Regency, Banten Province.
After the visitation, the series continued with the final judging process by the ADWI 2022 Professional Jury Board in the third week of October 2022.

There are 7 assessment categories, namely Attraction, Homestay, Toilet, Souvenir, CHSE, Digital and Creative Content, and Institutional. In addition, there will be winners of 3 tourist village classifications, namely Pioneering, Developing and Forward.
Meanwhile, the Deputy of Destination Development and Infrastructure of the Ministry of Tourism, Vinsensius Jemadu, said that ADWI 2022 is a program that touches the community and raises the spirit of tourism and creative industry players.
"This program is a program that really touches the community, even though I only visited 12 tourism villages. But there I saw the enthusiasm of the village community to move forward and to be able to enjoy this tourism is very high," said Vinsensius.
